When you first set up the health challenge you want to be sure that you understand how you can award points to the people that are involved in the challenge. Take the time that you need to find healthy ways to award these points.

Some people will give a point for each day that you do not eat a dessert. You can decide to make your challenge for all seven days of the week or you may want to allow one free day a week in which people are allowed to cheat a little bit.

When you have fresh fruit in your home you will be able to be sure that you can get the vitamins and the nutrients that you need. Take the time that you need to understand that you are going to have to go grocery shopping more when you increase your fruit and vegetable intake.

Take the time that you need to understand how you can add some fresh fruit to your cereal when you eat in the morning. As you are adding fresh fruit to your cereal you may also be able to add a side of vegetables to your dinner.

If you work at a desk you should be sure that you get up and walk around periodically. You want to make sure that you are taking time to run up the stairs, walk around the office, walk around the building or even walk down the street.

Throughout the day you will also want to check your portion sizes. Understand how you can be sure that you are not overeating and you are only giving yourself the amount of food that you should be eating at that meal.

The first week of your challenge you may choose to have everyone keep a food journal. Keeping a food journal is a great way to make sure that you are aware of what you are eating throughout the day and aware that you will have to be accountable for it.

Fourth, as you are attempting to be healthier you should be sure that your body is not all that you focus on. Make sure that you learn how you can focus on your spiritual and mental health levels as well.

The second week you may want to challenge everyone to get a specific amount of sleep a night. Recommending something like seven hours a sleep a night for the challenge is a great way to ensure that people are focusing on their sleeping habits for a week.

This way, you can be sure that you are able to understand what you can start cutting out. The more that you are able to understand about what you can cut out the better off you will be when you are learning how you are going to eat healthier.

Finally, when you are learning how you are going to eat healthier you should not be buying any junk food. Do no store it in your home and make sure that you understand how you are going to avoid exposing yourself to it at all.

The fifth week you may want to challenge everyone to do pushups and sit ups every day. Continue to develop different challenges for each week that you want to the challenge to last so you can be sure that you are going to be able to improve your healthy habits.
